Facebook has decreased the reach of pages. We’ve been monitoring this for the past couple of weeks, and there’s been a definite reduction in organic reach and virality of new posts on Facebook pages.
Anyone running an information service on Facebook will be adversely affected. If you are operating what I term a ‘Rah! Rah!’ page with lots of conversation and likes etc. you probably will not be affected as much. Of course the cynic in me sees this as another attempt by Facebook to force page owners to increase their advertising.
