A Note on security Updates

It’s easy to be overly concerned by the constant barrage of security alerts. The above list provides a brief and constantly updated summary of the latest threats from the US Computer Emergency Readiness Team.

If your computers have up-to-date antivirus software, and more importantly you and your staff practice ‘safe’ browsing’and email link handling, most threats can be avoided. It’s more often in that “D’oh!” moment when you click on an innocent looking link in an email or website, and you realize it probably isn’t innocent, that you are most at risk.
